Occasionally you may feel hesitant to take on new challenges, or taking that first step on to a new adventure. Sometimes you just need to go for it! Here are some reasons why you should go for it and how it might help change elements of your life.
1.Life is short
The past few years have definitely shown us how short life is and how quickly what we love can be taken away. Take advantage of what you have and the opportunities you are given. Focus on making the most of now and not worrying about the past or things that haven’t happened yet.
2. It’s NEVER all or nothing
If you screw up, it’s ok. We go again. Thinking that you must do everything perfect the first time round will lead to you either failing due to overwhelming expectations or not achieving your goal, because you never started in the first place. Stay specific and measurable and understand that it is never all or nothing and go for it.
3. Who cares what other people think?
Honestly the only opinion that matters is your own. Focus on you and what you are going to achieve. Everyone will have something to say…and none of it has anything to do with you. Let them talk.
4. You are strong enough to do hard things
Challenge yourself! Set a date for something scary in the diary and work towards it. When the day comes for you to show up and you smash it, you will feel amazing knowing you CAN do hard things. Being able to go for it starts with believing you can do hard things.
5. Doing what you love makes success more likely
If you enjoy something, you’ll do it as often as you can. Look at training that way so you don’t lose the passion to keep going and improve. Do things that excite you and make you feel awesome when your done.
6. When you are brave, the universe rewards you
GO FOR IT! Be brave and take on experiences that you aren’t ready for. Be brave. You will find out exactly what you are made of.
Remember that NOW is an amazing time to set your goals and have a plan of attack…not tomorrow, not next week, not next month…stop delaying something you can start today. Stay focused and stay consistent; you’ll achieve so much more than you know.
